Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Bites
  • 2 pounds chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chicken base
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoons black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter using a stovetop or microwave, then stir in the garlic and red pepper flakes.
  2. Combine the chicken, olive oil, chicken base, and seasonings in a large skillet, stirring until the meat is evenly coated.
  3. Sear the chicken over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, then pour in the garlic butter and stir for 30-60 seconds while scraping the pan. Mix in the parmesan and parsley, toss to coat, and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 165°F before serving warm.

Notes

If you aren’t familiar with chicken base it is a paste style bullion that adds tons of rich chicken flavor. The most common brand of chicken base is Better Than Bullion, but any brand will work.
Substitutions: 
  • Chicken: Boneless, skinless chicken thighs also work well.
