- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine the pie filling and angel food cake powder in a mixing bowl.
- Stir the thick batter slowly to avoid making a mess.
- Grease a cake pan with shortening.
- Pour the lemon bar batter into a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 24 to 28 minutes until the top is lightly browned.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool partially before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar or garnish with whipped topping if desired.
