Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef flank steak or ribeye, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup red onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar, pepper jack, or mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

Marinate the Beef
  1. Combine sliced beef, BBQ sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl and marinate for 10 minutes while preparing other ingredients.
Cook the Beef
  1. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the beef for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and caramelized.
Prepare the Avocado
  1. Slice the avocado and drizzle with lime juice to prevent browning.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Arrange tortillas and layer with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cheese, avocado, and the cooked BBQ beef.
Wrap It Up
  1. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, roll tightly, and slice in half.
Serve & Enjoy
  1. Serve immediately or toast lightly in a pan for a crispy finish.

Notes

Beef Texture: I always make sure to slice my beef against the grain before marinating because it ensures every bite in the wrap stays tender and easy to chew.
The Perfect Char: I prefer using a heavy cast iron skillet for this recipe to get those dark, caramelized edges on the beef that really make the BBQ sauce sing.
