Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons creole mustard
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning such as Tony Chachere’s
  • 1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne optional

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until well blended.
  2. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for one hour prior to serving.
  3. Serve alongside fried green tomatoes or use as a dipping sauce for french fries or fried fish.

Notes

This dip is a bit spicy as written, thanks to the creole mustard, creole seasoning, horseradish, and cayenne. You can easily omit the cayenne for a more mild dip and cut the creole seasoning in half or omit the horseradish. Play around with the spices – you really can’t mess this up!
Store covered in the fridge for up to one week.
Serve with air fryer fried green tomatoes, french fries, fried fish, or chicken strips.
