Ingredients
Method
- Follow these simple steps to create Bang Bang Air Fryer Chicken.
- Combine chicken thighs and buttermilk in a bowl. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove chicken from the buttermilk, shaking off any excess. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the coated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken pieces and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken cooks, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl. Mix well until smooth.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the air fryer. Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the top and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly.
- Optionally, sprinkle sliced green onions over the chicken for added color and flavor.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy your Bang Bang Air Fryer Chicken while hot.

Notes
Ingredient Swap: I've definitely made this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts when I was out of thighs, and it still turns out wonderfully juicy, just keep a closer eye
