Method
- Whisk all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and set the mixture aside.
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until the onion is translucent, then add the beef and cook until browned.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, and red bell pepper and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the green onions and continue sautéing until the vegetables are nearly tender.
- Cook the noodles in boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Transfer the noodles to the pan, pour the sauce over them, and toss until thoroughly combined. Add more chili flakes to taste.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.

Meat Choice: I've discovered that while ground beef is my favorite for its rich flavor, ground pork or even ground chicken works beautifully if you prefer a lighter meal.
