Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss trimmed asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.
- Spread asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Cooking
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 12-15 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Remove baking sheet from oven, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over asparagus, then return to oven and roast for 2 more minutes.
- Once done, remove asparagus from oven and serve immediately.
