  • 2 tbsp olive oil Use high-quality olive oil for best flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the flavor.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adjust the quantity according to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss trimmed asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.
  3. Spread asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 12-15 minutes until tender-crisp.
  2. Remove baking sheet from oven, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over asparagus, then return to oven and roast for 2 more minutes.
  3. Once done, remove asparagus from oven and serve immediately.
