  • 2 cups cooked rice You can use white or brown rice.
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced Chicken thighs can be used for more flavor.
  • 1/2 cup honey For sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Regular or low-sodium soy sauce can be used.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Add more for extra flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds For garnish.
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed Cooking oil For frying the chicken.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat a bit of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6–8 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  4. While the chicken cooks, mix the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the glazed chicken over the cooked rice.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle on the sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Notes
