Method
- Combine olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and mix until well blended.
- Add chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until thoroughly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer in a single layer with the flat smooth-side down.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer, let it cool, and serve with your favorite sides.

Storage And Reheating Instructions:
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until crispy.
- Chicken thighs should be cooked in a single layer. Do not stack.
- The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers cook a little differently, you will need to adjust this recipe specific to the air fryer you are using.
- According to the USDA, chicken should be cooked to an internal temp of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
