Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 Hass avocado medium, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 cup salsa sugar-free
  • shredded cheese optional
  • sour cream optional
  • jalapeños optional

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare the lettuce base in serving bowls.
  4. Slice the avocado and arrange it on top of the lettuce with chopped cilantro.
  5. Add the cooked turkey evenly over each bowl. Top with salsa and optional toppings.
  6. Serve warm. Garnish with additional cilantro if desired.
