For the dressing:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced yellow onion
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
For the salad:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Combine mayonnaise, onion, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, paprika, and salt in a small bowl, then whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Cook ground beef in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Remove from heat, drain the fat, and stir in salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Divide salad among plates and top with ground beef, cheddar cheese, diced onion, and pickles. Drizzle with dressing, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve.
