  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  3. Melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  5. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla, then stir in the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
