- Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic in a small bowl to create the glaze.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and nearly cooked through.
- Pour the honey lemon glaze over the chicken. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, turning the chicken occasionally until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
- Move chicken to one side of the skillet and add asparagus. Drizzle with additional oil if needed, season with salt, and cook for 3–5 minutes until tender, spooning sauce over the chicken as it finishes.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices and serve the dish directly from the skillet.
