  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 medium Carrots julienned
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
For the Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce tamari for gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar or honey for a natural alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil use sparingly
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with water to prevent clumps
  • 1/4 cup Water
For Serving
  • 4 cups Cooked White Rice or cauliflower rice for low-carb
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds optional but recommended

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned, then drain the excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets and julienned carrots and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water in a bowl, then pour the mixture into the skillet and stir.
  6. Simmer the mixture for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve the beef teriyaki over cooked white rice or a preferred base and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
