Ingredients

Turkey Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp oil for cooking
Creamy Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Combine the ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl and mix gently until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into walnut-sized meatballs and place them on a plate.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
  4. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a plate and set aside.
  5. Melt the butter in the same skillet, stir in the flour, and cook for about one minute until lightly golden.
  6. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring to create a smooth sauce.
  7. Add the cranberry sauce and heavy cream, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  8. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for approximately 10 minutes to allow them to absorb the sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
