Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion minced
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of neutral oil grapeseed oil
Sauce
  • 4 tablespoon sweet Thai chili sauce sub: honey
  • 2 tablespoon vegeterian oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 inch minced ginger or grated
  • 2 tablespoon water
Beef Rice Bowl Ingredients:
  • jasmine rice
  • fried Egg
  • garnish with sesame seeds and green onion

Method
 

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of neutral oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic, then cook for approximately 10 minutes, breaking the meat apart with a spatula until browned and crispy.
  3. Allow the beef to crisp undisturbed before adding the sauce.
  4. Whisk together the sweet Thai chili sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, light soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, water, and grated ginger in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the cooked beef and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Continue cooking until the beef is thoroughly crispy.

  1. Place a generous scoop of white rice into each serving bowl.
  2. Top each bowl with a fried egg for added flavor and protein.
